My PlantCo Founder and CEO Mei Yong has joined the Style My Soul podcast

My PlantCo Founder and CEO Mei Yong has joined the Style My Soul podcast, sharing how curiosity, creativity and the confidence to do things differently have shaped her approach to life and entrepreneurship.

Style My Soul explores the idea of ‘style’ beyond what we wear, looking at how it influences the way people live, work, create and express themselves.

In the short podcast episode, Mei reflects on how this mindset has influenced her journey building My PlantCo and its brands, including Turban Chopsticks, Kado and Real Oats.

For Mei, one of the biggest lessons from entrepreneurship has been to stay curious and not wait until everything is perfect before beginning.

“Try things, ask questions, learn and adapt, don’t feel you need to follow someone else’s version of success.”

The conversation also touches on the role of creativity and challenging convention, principles that continue to shape My PlantCo’s approach to food innovation and exploring new possibilities for Australian grown ingredients.
